Nilachal

Perched about 2,000 feet above sea level and just 5 kilometers from Bandarban town, Nilachal is one of the most breathtaking tourist spots in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. Translating to 'Blue Heights', the viewpoint truly lives up to its name, offering sweeping, uninterrupted panoramic views of the surrounding green valleys, the meandering Sangu River, and distant mountain ranges.

In the early morning, particularly during the monsoon and winter, the entire valley is often blanketed by a thick layer of white clouds, making visitors feel as though they are standing in the sky. Winter (November to February): The weather is comfortably cool, and early mornings often feature spectacular cloud cover over the valleys.

Monsoon (July to September): The hills turn a vibrant, lush green, and the dramatic cloud formations are mesmerizing, though roads can be slippery.

Summer (March to May): Can be quite hot during the day, making late afternoon visits the best option.
