Beautiful Bangladesh (also branded as Tourist Places BD) is an independent, non-commercial travel guide to the most beautiful destinations in Bangladesh. The site is built for informational and educational purposes only. It is not affiliated with the Government of Bangladesh, the Bangladesh Tourism Board, or any government or tourism authority. Nothing on this site should be read as an endorsement, recommendation, or warranty by any government body or travel authority.
2. Not professional advice
The information on this site is general travel information only. It is not professional legal, medical, financial, immigration, or safety advice. Specifically: (a) visa and entry information may be out of date — verify with the relevant embassy or consulate; (b) health and vaccination advice is general — consult a travel medicine clinic; (c) legal and safety information may not reflect local conditions — consult local authorities, embassies, and the relevant government agencies; (d) financial figures, transport schedules and prices change — verify with the operator.
3. No warranty of accuracy
We work hard to keep the site accurate, useful and up to date, but we make no warranty, express or implied, that the information on this site is correct, complete, or current at the moment you read it. 4. Travel is inherently risky
Travel — especially international travel and travel to remote destinations — carries real risks. These include (without limitation) the risk of accident, illness, injury, theft, natural disaster, political instability, crime, civil unrest, and the failure of any third-party service. The site owners do not warrant that travel to any destination on the site is safe, and they accept no liability for any harm that arises from travel. It is your responsibility to research the destination, the season, the local conditions, your own health and fitness, and the local laws, before you travel.
5. External links and third-party content
The site contains links to external websites — for example government portals, transport operators, accommodation providers, image hosts, and a single embedded YouTube video. We try to link only to reputable, relevant sites, but we do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, their availability, their privacy practices, or any advice, services, bookings or purchases you make through them. Following an external link is at your own risk. The site also embeds photographs from Wikimedia Commons under various Creative Commons and Public Domain licences — the licence for each photograph is shown on the relevant page.
6. No booking or transactions
The site does not sell tickets, take bookings, or process payments. Where we link to a third-party booking or transport site, you are entering into a relationship with that third party, not with us. We do not take a commission, and we are not responsible for the quality, price or safety of the third-party service.
7. Health and vaccination
Health information on this site is general and may be out of date. Recommended vaccinations and prophylaxis (for example for malaria or dengue) change over time and by traveller profile. Please consult a travel medicine clinic or your local doctor in the weeks before you travel, and follow the official guidance of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the relevant government health authority.
8. Insurance
The site does not sell travel insurance and is not affiliated with any insurance provider. Travel insurance (covering medical evacuation, theft and trip interruption) is strongly recommended for any international trip to Bangladesh, and is mandatory for certain visa categories. We cannot stress enough that medical evacuation from a remote area of Bangladesh can be very expensive, and that good insurance is the most cost-effective part of any trip.
9. Affiliate and advertising
The site is non-commercial. We do not currently run affiliate links, sponsored posts, display advertising or any form of monetisation. If we add these in the future, we will update this disclaimer and our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes
We may update this Disclaimer from time to time. The 'Last updated' date below will change when we do. Continued use of the site after a change indicates that you accept the updated disclaimer.
