Rupsha Zamindar Bari is an impressive 200-year-old heritage landed estate situated in Rupsha village of Faridganj upazila in Chandpur district, roughly 15 kilometres southeast of Chandpur town. Founded in the late 18th century by Zamindar Roop Narayan Roy, the estate was once the preeminent administrative and cultural seat of the lower Meghna river basin.
The palace complex is approached through a grand three-storey brick entrance archway (Singha Dwar) flanked by security sentry rooms.
